Roadmap for green fuels in transport and industry
The MissionGreenFuels roadmap sets a clear direction for how green fuels can be developed, scaled, and deployed in Denmark in order to decarbonise hard‑to‑abate sectors such as shipping, aviation, and heavy industry - where direct electrification is not enough.
Green fuels roadmap
A shared direction for the green fuels transition
The MissionGreenFuels roadmap provides a comprehensive and action‑oriented overview of how Denmark can accelerate the development and deployment of green fuels towards 2030 and 2050. Developed in close collaboration with industry, research institutions, and policymakers, the roadmap brings together technology pathways, infrastructure needs, market conditions, and regulatory frameworks.
Rather than focusing on a single solution, the roadmap takes a system perspective - recognising that green fuels, electrification, renewable energy, and infrastructure must be developed in parallel to deliver real impact.
