Sustainable Aviation Fuels: Passenger, Public and Stakeholder Perceptions
Background
The passenger aviation sector looks into a future with increasing demands for sustainable flights and continuous tighter regulations of the sector’s share of sustainable aviation fuels. However, there is little knowledge and information concerning stakeholder views, passenger perception and demand for sustainable flights to guide the aviation industry in their investment decisions and timing. Consequently, investment decision uncertainties and perceived risks are significant among the key stakeholders.

Gauge passenger demand for sustainable flight and how it relates to knowledge and the effects from a field information experiment.
Expected results/impact
Sustainable aviation insights among stakeholders and media coverage
Passengers’ willingness to pay for – and perceptions of sustainable aviation fuels
